TED Student Entrepreneurship Program

For student entrepreneurs, TED will specially focus on entrepreneurship building activities by

− Conducting awareness building campaigns in the Diaspora schools

− Organizing motivational talks on Entrepreneurship to the Students

− Conducting workshops for students

− Sourcing potential entrepreneurs through business plan competitions

− Incentivizing student entrepreneurs through fellowships

 

Different entrepreneurship building programs will be delivered in schools and colleges depending on the standard

Standard Programs Expected outcomes
Standard 9th to Standard 10th
  • Introduction to basic concepts of finance through interactive sessions
  • Role play for building your own venture
  • Case studies of great organisations around the world
  • Awareness about basic concepts of cost, revenue, profit, resources and skills required to create an enterprise
Standard 11th to Standard 12th
  • Introduction of elective of Entrepreneurship in the curriculum along with qualified faculty to deliver it
  • Short internships with mainstream start-ups
  • Awareness about advanced concepts like break-even, types of costs, business models, investment types and sources, life cycle of an enterprise
Undergraduate Colleges
  • Linkages with mainstream student entrepreneurship
  • Internships with mainstream start-ups
  • Understanding of sectors of high growth and technical skills required to start-up
  • Ability to articulate a start-up idea to get incubation and pre-incubation support
